Scinto, Lauren

Welcome to
Mrs. Scinto's Page

Dear 4th Graders,

Welcome to 4th grade! It will be my 15th year of teaching and 11th year in Piscataway. I am super excited! I taught third grade for 6 years, fourth grade for 8 years, physical education for 1 year and I was a Division I college softball coach for three years. That is just a little bit about me, I’ll save the rest for when we meet. I can’t wait to meet all of you!
This year you will learn so much about the Writing Process, research and create a book on The American Revolution, learn how to do a Write Long, research and visit Sandy Hook State Park where you will discover amazing things on the beaches of New Jersey, join book clubs, and have fun while doing it. Get ready to bring your A game and to be challenged.

School will begin on Wednesday September 5, 2018 at 7:45am and end at 2:20pm. Although school starts in September I won't see you until December, as I will be on maternity leave with my brand new baby. I know you'll have a great few months without me, and I can't wait to meet all of you!
You will be in room 14! Don’t forget to check the supply list and have those supplies in your back pack ready for the first day. Enjoy the rest of your summer and I will see you soon!
