Congratulations to Arbor Intermediate School for being recognized as one of the top performing schools in New Jersey by IXL Learning!
IXL is a digital learning platform that allows students to practice and become proficient in a wide range of math skills. IXL tailors practice problems to each student's learning level to reinforce classroom instruction. Student progress is monitored as they work toward proficiency with a focus on steady growth and academic achievement.
Arbor showed outstanding overall usage of IXL, as well as a high number of skills in which students have reached proficiency.
“The consistent engagement and strong student progress at Arbor really stood out, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate that success,” said Chelsea McLane, educational consultant for IXL Learning, who gave the school a banner to show off this great accomplishment and encourage students to continue striving to improve.
Congratulations to Arbor Principal Heather O’Donnell, Assistant Principal Jeffrey Montgomery, District Supervisor of Mathematics PreK-5 Rebecca Dayton, the whole team of math teachers at Arbor, and especially to the Arbor students who have worked so hard!
